BioGuard Spa Shield is an essential balance chemical used to raise Total Hardness (TH).  It’s important to maintain the correct TH to help prevent equipment corrosion and etching of surfaces.

Shield is a quick dissolving granule that increases water hardness/calcium. All spa pools need the correct level of calcium in the water however it is particularly important for concrete, tile, plaster, quartzon and marble plaster spa pools.  Insufficient calcium levels encourage deterioration of the pool surface and equipment while too much causes calcium deposits to form in pipework or on the pool surface.

Use in conjunction with Performance Up, Comfort Up and Aquality to achieve balanced water in your swimming pool.
